NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. GAME/SWEEPSTAKES BEGINS AT 12:00:00 PM (NOON) (ET) ON 2/1/10 & ENDS AT 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 6/30/10.
1. TO ENTER SWEEPSTAKES: You may submit an entry into the Sweepstakes two ways:
(1) Online Entry: Visit www.combos.com and follow the on-screen instructions to select the drawing that you would like to enter (i.e., the drawing for the Gaming Zone, Tailgating Zone or Home Theater Zone (together, the "Zones" or each, a "Zone")) and then click "submit" to complete your Online Entry. Each Online Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person assigned the email address by the entity responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such person’s email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.
(2) Text Message Entry: Text the word "COMBOS" to 73761 and follow the instructions contained in the reply text message. THREE (3) TEXT MESSAGE TRANSMISSIONS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE EACH TEXT MESSAGE ENTRY. Standard text messaging rates apply. Total Text Message Limit: Three (3) million total text message transmissions. YOU CANNOT SUBMIT OR COMPLETE A TEXT MESSAGE ENTRY AFTER TOTAL TEXT MESSAGE LIMIT IS REACHED.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 6/30/10. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
2. INSTANT WIN: If you are the first person to complete an entry on or after a predetermined time and date, you will receive a "CONGRATULATIONS!" message (a "Winning Message") either on your computer screen if you submitted an Online Entry or via text message if you submitted a Text Message Entry. If you submitted an Online Entry, you will win the instant win prize indicated in the Winning Message, subject to verification of eligibility. If you submitted a Text Message Entry, you will receive a text message with an authorization code that you must enter at combos.com in order to claim your prize. Winning times and dates will be randomly predetermined under the supervision of D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Game/Sweepstakes (the "Judge").
3. PRIZES AND ODDS: Three (3) Grand Prizes (One Grand Prize per
Zone): One (1) Gaming Zone Prize: 8 Foot Pool Table with built-in ball storage system
and deluxe accessory kit (cues, balls, etc.); 8 foot air hockey table; Sony®
BRAVIA® LCD HDTV 65"; NASCAR® Racing Arcade Game; NBA Hoops Basketball Arcade
Game; PlayStation®3 (with 2 controllers); and an EA SPORTS™ video game (title
selected by Sponsor). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $24,951.97. One (1) Tailgating/Grilling
Zone Prize: 5"x 8" Custom Tailgating trailer equipped with 32" LCD TV, Satellite
Dish, CD/DVD Player, 1000 Watt Generator (with electrical outlets), Toilet, Spare
Tire, Mag Wheels, 36"x36" Concession Door, Double Rear Doors, 32" Side Entry Door,
Grill, Stainless Steel Sink, Refrigerator, AM/FM Receiver, 2 External Mounted Speakers
and Trailer Cover. Direct TV® for twelve (12) months (awarded as $750 check made
payable to winner); Sirius Starmate Radio with six-month subscription; 10’x10’ Instant
Canopy; 18-piece BBQ Tool Set; and $8,800 awarded as a check made payable to winner.
ARV: $24,964.97. One (1) Home Theater Zone Prize: Awarded in the form of a $25,000
BEST BUY® Gift Card (subject to the terms and conditions of its issuer; lost,
stolen or destroyed Gift Card will not be replaced; additional restrictions, limitations
and exclusions may apply). One Hundred Fifty (150) Instant Win First Prizes: a 36
Quart Cooler or an EA SPORTS™ video game (title selected by Sponsor) as randomly
predetermined by the Judge. ARV: $59.99 each. 100 Instant Win Second Prizes: a $10
Home Depot® Gift Card (gift cards subject to the terms and conditions of their
issuer; will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed). 2,500 Instant Win Third
Prizes: a coupon redeemable for one (1) free bag (7 oz. or smaller) of COMBOS®
Snacks (coupon subject to terms and conditions stated thereon; not replaced if lost,
stolen or destroyed). ARV: $2.25 each. Additional restrictions, limitations and
exclusions may apply. All prize details determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Total ARV of all prizes: $90,791.19. Odds of winning a Grand Prize depend on the
number of entries received per Zone. Odds of winning an Instant Win prize depend
upon the number of people playing and the date and time of each entry. Prize Limits:
one (1) Grand Prize per household and one (1) Instant Win prize per household per
day. If for any reason, an entrant receives more than one Winning Message per day,
that entrant will receive the prize specified on the first Winning Message received
for that day, subject to verification of eligibility. Sponsor reserves right to
substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of
prizes permitted. Any prize won by a minor may be awarded to such minor's parent
or legal guardian in Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor responsible only for delivery
of prize; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Taxes and fees,
if any, are the sole responsibility of winners.
4. INSTANT WIN PRIZE CLAIMS: Follow the prize claim instructions that appear after you receive your Winning Message. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of Instant Win Prizes. Unclaimed Instant Win First Prizes will be awarded in the Second Chance Drawing described in Rule 6 below (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). All other unclaimed Instant Win Prizes will not be awarded. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the unlikely event that Winning Messages for any Instant Win Prize level are distributed in numbers greater than the stated number of Instant Win Prizes for such prize level, that stated number of winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level.
5. SELECTION OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER: The potential Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner for each Zone will be determined from all eligible entries received in each Zone in a series of random drawings to be conducted on or about 7/9/10 by the Judge. Grand Prize winners will be notified by overnight mail.
6. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: Unclaimed Instant Win First Prizes will be awarded in the Second Chance Drawing (the "Drawing"), assuming a sufficient number of entries. Each time you enter the Sweepstakes, you also will be automatically entered in the Drawing. Winners will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 7/26/10, by the Judge. Odds of winning depend upon the number of unclaimed Instant Win First Prizes and the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by standard mail. All entries become exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
7. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individual legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, age 13 or older as of 2/1/10, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, Judge, advertising and promotion agencies and prize providers.
8. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Prize claims subject to verification, and all drawings conducted by the Judge. Grand Prize winners will, and other prize winners may, be required to sign affidavits of eligibility and liability releases and, where permitted, publicity releases. Any prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit and release(s) are not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner. Return of any prize and/or prize notification letter as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize. Each winner agrees to use of name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law. Prize claims are sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
9. GENERAL: This Game/Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Game/Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Game/Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States. Sponsor and Judge not responsible for: late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due or misdirected entries, mail, text messages or communications; for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, telephones or transmission lines; data corruption; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and Judge not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages or otherwise. The use of automated software or computer programs to register for or enter this Game/Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or play/enter will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to restrict registrations from any IP address or mobile telephone number if a suspicious registration, play and/or entry is detected. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system or telephone resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Game/Sweepstakes and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Game/Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Game/Sweepstakes. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing to award the Sweepstakes Grand Prizes and remaining Instant Win Prizes will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the Drawing prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his/her entries) from this Game/Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he/she tampers with the entry process or if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of this Game/Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Game/Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Judge and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Game/Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor and its directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies and prize providers, from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity. CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GAME/SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. WINNERS LIST: Names of Grand and Instant Win First Prize Winners will be posted on www.facebook.com/combos. Winners list will be posted after selection and verification of winners through 7/31/10.
